XYZ’s aim:

As a Music Academy, we have the facility to teach in many scenarios such as one to one, shared and group lessons. Doing this gives students access to their ideal learning environment. Some students work well by themselves, others prefer to learn with a friend or as a team.

All of the lessons taught at the Academy use the XYZ syllabus which acts as a backbone to give the students the best start possible when embarking on a new instrument. Once the foundations are covered, our teachers are encouraged to customise the learning to suit the students needs whether it be for GCSE’s, Gradings, performances and so on.

Another great thing about the XYZ syllabus is that all of the syllabi work together to encourage students to play as an ensemble. This is reflected through our in-house ‘Rock Band Experience’ workshop which runs throughout the holiday periods.
